I only have Galaxy In Flames and I have played it so I know it’s great. There are other expansions but I do not have them so am not going to make reference to them. Now you have 8 very cool races to play with and you will probably never get bored of this game. If you are REALLY into this game then you can buy the “Galaxy In Flames” expansion developed by steven mathers on BGG and get all of the cards and 3D models printed for the four additional races: Tau, Tyranids, Necrons and Imperial Guard. If you are into Warhammer 40k you will recognise and love them and it will add a ton of flavour to the game.

The different races: Each race is unique with its own strengths and weaknesses with regards to units, upgrades, special Domination order token abilities and so much more.

This game is great because it is a wargame based on the popular Warhammer 40k universe and combines multiple genius mechanics that all blend together into one smorgasbord of an experience which I will try to explain as briefly as possible: It's a very hard game to predict due to the many variables. 2 players is like a chess match, with games between equally matched opponents sometimes being reasonably quick, or taking a few hours.
